Health and Safety at Work (Baguio Country Club)

“ SUA SPONTE “ which means “ OF THEIR OWN ACCORD “. 

That is what we extradite our mission being the Health and Safety Department of Baguio Country Club wherein, “We are committed to the Safety and Welfare of all our Members, Guest, Visitors and Employees through identification, prevention, education correction and promoting workplace safety to reduce and eliminate accidents and injuries and to manage disasters through effective and efficient preparedness and readiness to respond to an emergency."

In order to bring forth such endeavor, the management selects a recherche of staff that are knowledgeable wherein they are able to carry out risk assessment prior to intervention. Well trained in the aspect of rendering the right health management. The department is handled by the Health and Safety Manager who oversees that all safety management procedures are undertaken efficiently, carries out the responsibility of providing effective “hands on” in operational health and safety support and advice to management personnel in the areas of process and workplace safety. Ensures that there is compliance with existing and evolving regulatory and company Health and Safety requirements and expectations. To assist are the Health and Safety Watch Officers known as SERVO's who aim to prevent injuries, accidents, health problems or any untoward incidents and a coordinator to ensure that operations runs smoothly.

The Club has its own medical and dental clinic, with a company physician and dentist who are readily available to give medical and dental assistance. The clinic is open 24 hours and are manned by registered nurses, who are knowledgeable in rendering health care. The Kid's Club is also manned by a registered nurse to assure that the children of our members and guest are safe while they are playing.

To consolidate the whole team are provisions of having the medical equipment to render first aid, an ambulance to transport patients to the nearest hospital if necessary, a fire truck to respond to emergencies. Advanced gadgets to hasten the communication process in the workplace.

Add to that are strategic seminars being conducted to update and enhance the personnel's knowledge on health and safety management procedures and to instill the vigilance to its application in the workplace at all times.

Further, it is not just the manpower that makes a team, but it is the right attitude towards one's work, thus comes the adage of “ Sua Sponte,” it is to their own accord that dedication above all is that which drives them to deliver the mission statement of the Health and Safety Department.

We at the Health and Safety Department makes it a point that all the club's privileged members and guests and workforce are safe. We do not just say our mission, we visualize and we deliver.

I Bet It's the Best Wedding Venue in Baguio City...

From the time I settled down in Baguio, I never stopped falling in love with its incomparable weather, beautiful mountain views, lovely people and of course, its fun night life!

It's a place where I encountered most of the best things in my life. It was where I explored my career opportunities and advancement. It was here where I learned more about life and experienced more of God's goodness and miracles.

This City is a gift. It's a land rich in history and of everything nice :) Known as the Summer Capital of the country...it's also tagged as a "Lovers' Haven".

Yearly, Baguio has increased in catering to events, particularly to weddings. One reason may be the scenery this City offers. And there is this one place that when I first learned about, I knew it could be the best venue for anyone's wedding or even a place for a get-together party. It was like "a love at first sight". 

They call it “Infinity Garden”. It's one of the new facilities of Baguio Country Club (BCC) which just opened last November 2012.

It's BCC's outdoor function venue recommended for weddings, family and corporate events. It showcases a breath taking scenery of the sky touching the mountains of the Cordillera. The garden speaks for itself as the view give an exhilarating notion of eternity.

It is lovely. Nearby the garden are fields of strawberries and vegetables. There is also a greenhouse where you can see more than a hundred species of plants and flowers that grow in the Cordillera. Try visit the Green Zone of Baguio Country Club. Here you can see all of these beautiful creation.

This will definitely make couples more excited about their wedding or friends happier with their reunion party. Imagine... you and the people important to you making memories on top of this mountain, surrounded by the gifts of nature. It's Amazing! :)
